A list of all Open SUNY-supported browsers.
The information provided in the tabbed sections will explain which browsers are currently supported. All other browsers are not recommended and can potentially impact the user's experience. Use of unsupported browsers can result in inconsistent or unpredictable behavior when working in online courses, including (but not limited to) missing course content, loss of submitted assignments, and various other page errors. Beta releases of new browser versions should also not be used until approved by system developers. In this situation, an official announcement will be posted with additional information.
Additionally, it should be noted that due to current browser requirements and reduced functionality within the Learning Management System, the use of mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets, and e-readers is not recommended as the only source to access online courses.
Open SUNY always suggests using the latest version of supported browsers. Follow the links below to download or update the browser of choice.
