How to customize the Search and Help and Public Content nugget links in ANGEL 7.4

Summary

This is a brief tutorial on how to edit the Search and Help and Public Content nuggets in ANGEL 7.4.

Details

1. Open the Administrator console in ANGEL 7.4 (this is the gear icon on the left side toolbar).

2. Look on the Institution Tabfor the Domain Settings nugget. Click the entry for your campus configuration. It should be named 'campusid.sln.suny.edu configuration'.

3. Click on the Login Tabon the top choices presented.

4. Add or replace the contents of the Labelfields with the html code of the new links.
   
   1. Example: The following code will give you 3 custom links in the field chosen:
      <a href="http://www.externallink1.edu" target="_blank">What you want Link named 1</a> <br><a href="http://www.externallink2.edu" target="_blank">What you want Link named 2</a> <br><a href="http://www.externallink3.edu" target="_blank">What you want Link named 3</a>
   2. Replace the 'http://www.externallink1.edu' with the link of choice and the 'What you want Link named 1' with the link name of choice.

NOTE: The first text field, Library Resources, does not function properly in ANGEL 7.4. Text entered in this area will not display within the Public Content nugget. Instead, begin by using the second text field.
